Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he is sending cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.3 billion in local sales tax allocations for February, 1.6 percent more than in February 2023.
Locally, Castro County received $24,961, a 1.85 percent increase over February 2023.
Dimmitt increased 1.32 percent, receiving $45,322.
