The BNSF rail line typically has a train going through the area every 15 minutes. The accident comes on the heels of another BNSF train hauling coal derailed in Cimmaron County, Oklahoma on Aug. 12, with 13 cars involved. Officials said that the cause of both derailments is under investigation.
