  • A major train railway accident was reported last Wednesday morning, when 17 cars of a BNSF Railway intermodal train derailed on the railroad’s Southern Transcon northeast of Hereford. The derailment occurred on the Hereford Subdivision, between the towns of Dawn and Hereford near the intersection of Highway 60 and DD. There were no injuries to the train crew.
