  • Two Castro County 4-H Robotics Teams competed in the Texas Tech GEAR (Get Excited About Robotics) 3-run practice contest this past weekend to prepare for the contest on April 13. Nazareth Elementary team, the SwiftCatHorns includes team members Bensen Birkenfeld, Sawyer Gibson, Mason Mireles and Griffon Neinstat. The Junior team, the Castro Monkeys, includes Ian Birkenfeld, Copper Ferris, Remington Meador and Jack Wanjura.
