Naz XC named to All-State

The Texas Girls Coaches Association named five runners from Nazareth High School to the TGCA 2022--23 All-State Cross Country Team.

Athletes included Chloe Birkenfeld, Madison Brockman, Kelsie Gunter, Lexi Ramaekers and Townli Wheeler.

Coached by Whitney Bryant, the Nazareth team ran their way to the #2 team position and 1A division state runnerup behind Miller Grove.

The TGCA selects All-State teams in cross country in all conferences. Athletes may be any grade from 9-12 and are nominated by member coaches. The head varsity coach must be a member of TGCA in good standing.

Selections are made by the TGCA Cross Country Committee, which is comprised of member coaches selected by their peers to represent them at their annual meeting. The committee may select 50 athletes per conference for All-State honors.
