Sheriff Sal Rivera has been selected to serve as the Chairman of the Board for the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission for the 0232024 term.
He started his new position on Oct. 1. and will preside over the first board meeting on Oct. 26.
Rivera began serving on the board on Oct. 30, 2012, and has since served as secretary during 2021-2022, and vice-chairman for 2022-2023....
