April 4

Ethan James Mata, 20 of Dallas, was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol on a Denton County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over 1 gram-under 4 grams.

April 5

Sayd Roman Aviles, 32 of Olton, was booked into jail after County Court to serve out his jail time on the original offense of Theft over $750-under $2,500.

Jacob Ramirez Jr., 17 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Burglary of a Building.

Ronald Joseph Lucero, 39 of Hereford, was transported back from Randall County by the Sheriff’s Office on two Castro County warrants for Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

April 8

Jose Maria Lopez Jr., 47 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces-under 5 pounds.

April 9

Thomas T. Garcia, 29 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Assault causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Karina Ann Casas, 30 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Assault causes Bodily Injury.

Robert Idrogo Jr., 22 of Lockney, was booked into jail for out of county inmate housing for Floyd County.

April 10

Javier Nicolas Torres, 35 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense.

April 12

Mark Anthony Marquez, 24 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Failure to Appear-DWI.

Jovanny Villalba, 25 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Failure to Appear-DWI 2nd.

April 13

Robert Anes Jr., 25 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Failure to Appear-Theft of Property.

April 17

Robert Arguijo, 32 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on two Castro County warrant for Assault causes Bodily Injury and Unlawful Restraint.

Brandon Jake Wright, 37 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Hinder Apprehension or Prosecution of a Known Felon.

Yolanda Jean Reychler, 32 of Dimmitt, was arrested on a Castro County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance and on-site charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Omar Troy Catano, 35 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on two Deaf Smith County warrants for Assault causes Bodily Injury Family Violence and Interfere with Emergency Phone Call.

CASTRO COUNTY COURT Mandy Gfeller, presiding judge Judgments for April 5 Adalberto Oliva-Mejia, 47 of Austin, pleaded guilty to the offense of DWI. His plea of guilt was set aside and was placed on 15 months of deferred adjudication probation, $750 fine, $405 court costs, 80 hours of community service, and was ordered by the court to take an Alcohol Awareness Class and also to attend AA meetings.

Sayd Roman Aviles, 32 of Olton, pleaded true to violations of his probation on the original charge of Theft over $750-under $2,500. His probation was revoked, and he was sentenced to serve 90 days in jail and set out his fines and court costs of $1,350.

Judgments for April 12 Roy Thomas, 50 of Dimmitt, pleaded guilty to the offense of Criminal Trespass. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail, $500 fine and $275 court costs.

Adam Velasquez, 33 of Hart, pleaded guilty to the offense of Criminal Trespass of Habitation. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail probated for 18 months, $500 fine, $350 court costs and 100 hours of community service.

Judgments for April 17 Lance McCaslin, 44 of Tulia, pleaded guilty to the charge of DWI with a B.A.C. over 0.15. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail probated for two (2) years, $750 fine, $405 court costs, and was ordered to pay $60 in restitution to the Texas DPS Crime Lab.

64th DISTRICT COURT Danah Ziropoli, presiding judge Judgments for April 6: Vincent John Padilla, 62 of Hart, pleaded guilty to the charge of Manufacture/ Deliver of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 gramsunder 200 grams. He was sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division plus fines and court costs. He also had a hearing on his Motion to Revoke Probation on the original sentence of Manufacture/ Deliver of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 gramsunder 200 grams. His probation was revoked, and he was sentenced to 6 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division plus fines and court costs.

Judgments for April 17 Lance McCaslin, 44, of Tulia pled guilty to the offense of Endangering a Child. His plea of guilt was set aside and he was placed on five (5) years of Deferred Adjudicated Probation, $1500 fine and $325 court costs.

242nd DISTRICT COURT Kregg Hukill, presiding judge Judgments for April 13

Paul Jimenez Flores, 79 of Dimmitt, pleaded guilty to the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram. He was sentenced to 15 months in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-State Jail probated for four (4) years, $1500 fine, $325 court costs, and was ordered to pay $180 in restitution to the Texas DPS Crime Lab.

Matthew Cruz, 21 of Hereford, pleaded guilty to the charge of Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces-under 5 pounds. He was sentenced to a $3000 fine and was ordered to pay $180 in restitution to the Texas DPS Crime Lab. He was given credit for time served.

Jason Starkey, 40 of Dimmitt, pleaded guilty to the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram. His plea of guilt was set aside, and he was placed on three (3) years of Deferred Adjudication Probation, $1500 fine, $325 court costs, Attorney Fees, and was ordered to pay $180 in restitution to the Texas DPS Crime Lab.
