The deadline to apply for Texas Farm Bureau scholarships is coming up on March 15.
Annually, TFB awards more than $235,000 in scholarships in a variety of packages designed to meet different student needs.
Those qualifying to apply are high school seniors, enrolled undergraduate students, second- and thirdyear veterinary students at Texas A&M and Texas Tech, Ag Education seniors student teaching in Fall 2023, and first-year Texas State Technical College students.
Scholarships offered include four TFB Memorial/ Honorary Districts per each of the 52 TFB districts, one TFB YF&R Scholarship awarded per TFB District (13 available), one TFB Dick Mitchell Memorial Scholarship awarded Collegiate Scholarship Opportunities, four Mia Balko Student Teaching Scholarship (Agricultural Education) awarded each semester, three TFB YR&R Scholarships for enrolled college students, one TFB S.M. True, Jr. Agricultural Scholar Award, and four Rural Veterinary Scholarships.
Students/parents be a Texas Farm Bureau member to apply and must have a myTFB account to apply. Each scholarship has a unique set of eligibility requirements which are located online through the TFB Website within the Youth Opportunities page.
