Castro County first responders answered a call to a two-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of one driver last Thursday.The crash occurred 8.7 miles north of Dimmitt on US 385 about 1:45 p.m., resulting in the death of Russell Smallwood, 61 of Lubbock, Texas. He was pronounced deceased on the scene by Castro County Justice of the Peace Mary Ewing. The other driver was uninjured....
