Winter storm wreaks havoc

  • Just past North Gin on U.S. Hwy 385 N, the Dimmitt Volunteer Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office, Dimmitt Police Department and other first responders were met with “white out” challenges and treacherous roads this past Monday when a winter storm brought in snow and high winds creating blizzard conditions which caused numerous vehicle collisions and stranded motorists.
