Following up a successful state powerlifting meet, DHS Varsity Na’Khiyah Porras won the District shot put division and qualified for the Area meet. See all the District results in the Sports Zone.

The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle made a stop at the Nazareth Volunteer Fire Department to visit with and present the VFD with a $15,000 check. The donation to the fire department, as well as several other volunteer fire departments in the Panhandle, was made possible through a hat promotion by Hometown Hats Co. of Lubbock, Lubbock Professional Firefighters Association, and Amarillo Professional Firefighters Local 542, with distribution of funds through the 100 Club.
