Early voting kicks off Feb. 20

Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson announced Texas has 17,948,242 million registered voters ahead of the March 5 primaries. “Nearly 18 million Texans are registered to vote, and my office and election officials across the state are working to make sure all Texas voters are ready to cast a ballot,” said Secretary Nelson.

The Nazareth Swiftettes bested the Hartley Lady Tigers in the Bi-District championship round of the playoff s, 62-17. Nazareth came on strong in the first quarter, scoring 23 points while the defense held the Lady Tigers to two points, and hit the second quarter with the same amount of offensive energy, putting another 19 points on the board , while holding Hartley to four points, closing the first half in the lead, 42-6.
