The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may be easing some of the financial burden for funeral expenses for COVID-19 deaths. Beginning in April, the agency says it will begin paying up to $9,000 in expenses per funeral.

The Dimmitt Bobbies lost their second district game to the Denver City Fillies, 18-8. “We struggled in this game with pitching, hitting and field errors,” said Coach Vicky Ruiz.

The Dimmitt Bobcats were edged out by single run by the Denver City Mustangs this past Friday, 5-4. Neither team scored in the first two innings, but the Mustangs brought in three runs in the third inning to take the lead.
