HPWD water level measurements to begin

x High Plains Water District field technicians will begin annual water level measurements in observation wells on Jan. 2, 2025, to determine the changes since last year.Measurements will begin in Castro, Deaf Smith, and Parmer Counties.

Lopez graduates from WTAMU nursing program

More than 50 graduates from West Texas A&M University’s nursing program were honored at a pre-commencement observance before attending the commencement ceremony held later that afternoon.Lauren Lopez of Dimmitt was among the graduates.
Castro County 4-H were Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree at their last meeting, jamming to holiday music, making Christmas tree pretzel sticks, painting wood tree ornaments, and hand sewing felt ornaments. Youth from Kindergarten to 5t grade are welcome to join in each month for various activities and fun at Rhoads Memorial Library.
