The DHS Student Council held a canned food drive this past week and gathered almost 900 cans for our local food pantry. Seniors brought the most cans and received an extra long lunch for their hard work and dedication.

The Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce 8th Annual Parade of Lights is scheduled to be held on Dec. 5.Businesses, school organizations and individuals are invited to enter a float.Parade floats will begin lining up heading north on SE 3rd and Jones at 6 p.m.
