A baby shower honoring Zach and Carly Berry was held at the beautiful home of Lisa Gunstream on Saturday, Sept. 7.The serving table was adorned with a light linen cloth table cover and an early fall flower arrangement with greenery.

CCH along with the Area Agency on Aging, are offering a free seminar on Oct. 8 to review Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans.Open enrollment for Medicare begins on Oct. 15 and ends Dec. 7. This seminar will highlight the differences between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.

Changes coming to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), will be in place beginning Oct. 1, including new maximum benefit amounts.SNAP is designed to help low-income people and families pay for groceries.

NISD trustees call for bond election

The Nazareth Independent School District Board of Trustees has called for a $2.15 million Bond Election on Nov. 5 to fund instructional facilities construction, renovations, repairs, and upgrades.
