Church service for Peggy McGee, age 93, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, March 27, 2026 at Oklahoma Lane Community Church with Curtis Shelburne of Muleshoe and Vaughn Gossman of Clovis, New Mexico officiating. Burial will be in Bailey County Cemetery. Peggy died Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in Friona, Texas. She was born January 20, 1933 in Muleshoe to Sylvan and Opal (Stevens) Robison. She married Bobby Lee McGee in Muleshoe on December 22, 1950.
Peggy played the piano and organ at church for many years. She taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school as well. Peggy loved to cook for her family and for church and was great at it. She worked hard on the farm with Bobby and loved to drive around in her golf cart. She enjoyed playing games, especially bridge, and she usually won. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby; her parents; a daughter, Deidre Firestone; and two brothers, Rex Robison and Wendell Robison.
Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Ara White and her husband, Billy of Hereford, Texas and Lydia White and her husband, Kenny of Oklahoma Lane, Texas; a brother, Stanley Robison of Huntsville, Texas; her four grandchildren, Jason White and his wife, Tiffany, Dustin White and his wife, Lindsay, Mark White and his wife, Jessi and Landon White; and her five great-grandchildren, Kasleigh White, Blake White, Jo’Lee White, Cavan White, and Sophia White.
