Castro County 4-H shooting sports members were among a large group competing at the District 2 Rifle Contest in Lubbock on Saturday.
Jack Wanjura placed fourth in juniors; Oren Welps, fifth in juniors; and Miles Nelson, 14th in intermediates.
The contest allowed 10 shots for 10 small targets on page at 50 feet.
