A West Texas A&M student was hit by a train in Canyon on Halloween, according to Randall County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the train tracks at North 24th Street and Buffalo Sports Park around 9:30 p.m. following a report of a pedestrian being hit.
The victim was identified as Joe Hoot, a senior biology major from Canyon.
