The Dimmitt ISD Board of Trustees met on Aug. 14 and voted to increase the property tax rate following a public hearing.
The property tax rate increase of $1.0915 would be comprised of an M&O (Maintenance and Operations) tax rate of $0.7565 and an I&S (Interest and Sinking) tax rate of $0.335 which is effectively a 2.11 percent increase.
