FSA county committee election gets underway

  • Castro County 4-H’ers had a meeting led by STEM Ambassador Spencer Acker who introduced the group to robotics. The group saw a robot in motion and then divided into teams who were challenged to build a robo-animal – ending up with a giraffe, a dog and snake. The teams also raced to see who could build the highest tower. Castro 4-H is working to put teams together for the Texas Tech GEAR Robotics competition.     The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has started mailing ballots for the Farm Service Agency (FSA) county committee elections to eligible farmers and ranchers across the country.
