Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for January, 3.3 percent more than in January 2023.
Locally, Castro County received $24,099, up from the 2023 figure of $21.764.
