The Dimmitt Bobbies Powerlifting teams won a Regional team first place (Unequipped Division) and a team second place in the Equipped Division this past weekend at THSWPA Regional championships. The teams are coached Ruby Romero.
The Dimmitt Bobbies will be sending seven powerlifters to the THSWPA state meet in Frisco on March 13-16. Qualifying for state were Na’Khiyah Porras (junior), Yahdira Esqueda (junior), Samara Smith (junior) and Jesimae Gamez (junior), Rosalinda Comparan (soph), Estreya Rubio (junior), and Shaylagh Henriquez (junior).
