Castro County Extension Office will be offering a food handlers certification training course on Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The two-hour class covers food safety practices, cross contamination, time and temperature abuse and personal hygiene.
The cost for the course is $20 per person, which can be paid at the door. Deadline to sign up is July 31.
