Pauline Adams, 94 of Hereford, Texas, formerly of the Easter Community, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, in Hereford. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Muller officiating. Burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.

Pauline was born on Jan. 10, 1928, in Olney, Texas, to Thompson and Ellie (Durham) Clay. She was a part of the Easter community for 64 years. Pauline was a homemaker and took great pride in raising her children and helping her husband on the farm. She also worked for the Hereford Independent School District in the cafeteria at Stanton High School. Pauline was an active member of the Frio Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher, and a 4-H Leader. She loved her family and grandchildren, and her living room floor was always open for her grandchildren to have dance parties. She was a wonderful mother and one of a kind who will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Kenneth Adams and his wife Sheri of Hereford, Texas; her brother, Lee Clay and his wife Betty of Silverton, Texas; two grandchildren, Amy Ann Adams of Amarillo, Texas, and Paula Sue Adams of Amarillo, Texas; one great-grandchild on the way,; sister-in-law Peggy Clay of Nara Visa, New Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Donald Adams; daughter, Diana Kay Korman; three brothers, Leland Clay, James Clay, and Thurman Clay; and three sisters-in-law, Geraldine Clay, Ada Clay, and Virginia Clay.
