Yvonne Aguero, 61 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away from this earth on Monday, July 5, in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon John Nino and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Yvonne (Guerra) Aguero was born on Dec. 9, 1959, in Laredo, Texas to Jose Guerra and Josefina (Rebulloso) Guerra. Yvonne grew up and attended school in Laredo and married Cesario Aguero in 1981. They then moved to Dimmitt and have lived in Dimmitt up until her passing. She was a homemaker while raising her family. She enjoyed going to the movies with her family and was known to be a very patient person and was always loving person to others. She enjoyed listening to songs, but “Pretty Woman” was her favorite. Yvonne will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Cesario Aguero of Dimmitt; mother, Josefina Guerra of Laredo; three children, Cynthia Yvonne Aguero, Hope Maria Ontiveros and Cesario Aguero III, all of Dimmitt; two brothers, Mario Guerra and Andy Guerra both of Laredo; three sisters, Janie Warner of England, Emma Garza of Indiana, and Sonia DeAnda of Laredo; along with six grandchildren.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her father, Jose Guerra; and a sister, Ada Lopez.
