Michael Gavin Crank, 19 of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in Lubbock. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 15, at the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt with Dr. Jonathan Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home.

Michael Crank was born on Jan.22, 2004, in Fort Worth, Texas to Amy Crank Conyers. Michael grew up in Dimmitt, Texas and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 2022 while also being a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He then graduated from the Wolfforth Fire Academy Class of 33 in January 2023. Michael immediately began working for the Lovington Fire Department in Lovington, New Mexico while also working towards his paramedic certification. Michael enjoyed listening to music and spending every available minute with his friends. He was always looking for a way to put a smile on everyone’s face. But most importantly Michael loved his family and getting to spend time with them.

Michael is survived by his mother, Amy Conyers of Lubbock; father, Brian Conyers of Dimmitt; sister, Emma Conyers of Dimmitt; grandparents, Eddie Burk and husband Benny of Lubbock, and Robert Crank of Lubbock and Kay Conyers of Dimmitt; uncles, Zachary Crank of Lubbock, Jeremy Crank and wife Tabatha of White Settlement, and Robbie Crank and wife Amanda of Glen Rose; aunts, Katherine Madden and husband Nick of Colorado ,and Sarah Crank of Lubbock.
