Bob was born on Dec. 11, 1930, in Lubbock County to Cecil Joe DuLaney and Iva Virginia Arnold. They moved to Dumas during WWII where he graduated a proud Ding Dong Daddy from Dumas. He then returned to Lubbock County and then Dimmitt, Texas where he was involved in farming, raising cattle, machine/welding shops, and numerous aviation endeavors. He was instrumental in developing the Dimmitt Airport. He was a crop duster for 22 years and partner in D&D Aerial Spray. He was a member of the Confederate Air Force and certified to fly the FM 2 Wildcat and AT-6 Texan. He also flew The Wayland Baptist Flying Queens in Plainview. After retiring from farming, he became the Executive Director for the State of Texas Aircraft Pooling Board in Austin for 17 years. After retirement from the State of Texas he and Jean moved to Lubbock where they lived for many years until they moved to Amarillo to be closer to family.

Bob will be remembered as always seeking adventure and new thrills. He adored teaching his kids and grandkids how to water ski and enjoy the lake that he truly loved. He was one of the most Patriotic people on earth and his prayers at family gatherings will be in our hearts forever. He and Jean drove a tractor to Washington D.C. in support of the American Agricultural Movement. They attended countless sporting events and anything else their kids, grandkids, or great grandkids were participating in. He loved to play golf, tennis, scuba dive, fly, till the land, ride motorcycles, and anything else competitive.
