Agnes was born on April 27, 1954, to Pablo and Elmina (Vasquez) Garcia in San Antonio, Texas.

Agnes found her passion in her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking for everyone, her tortillas were a favorite by all. Agnes excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of her family through and through. She paid attention to the fine details and showed her love by making sure those around her had everything and anything they needed and wanted. She was a hard worker every day of her life and led by example as she taught her children to thrive by fighting for what they want and never giving up. She carried this resilience on as she had a helping hand in raising her granddaughters. She supported her kids in everything they did and made sure their education was a priority. Agnes was their number one fan. She was a caregiver to many, and it was important to her that nobody went without, helping in anyway she could or was able. She was at peace knowing all of her children were at a good place in life. Most importantly our mom was a God-fearing woman, and her faith was strong. Her prayers helped carry us through life and she made sure to pass that faith onto us, her children.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Richard Garcia Jr. and wife Sonia of Hart, Texas, Yvette Hill and her husband Kevin of Hereford, Texas, and Isaac De La Garza and his wife Monica of Wolfforth, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Garcia, Jordan Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Dezzaray Garcia, Brennon Garcia, Andrea Del Carpio, Nailly De La Garza, Isaac De La Garza Jr., Madisyn Hill, and Abralyn Hill; a twin sister, Guadalupe “Lupe” Garcia and husband Robert of Hart; sisters, Paulita Ruiz of Bishop, Texas, Rose Lawson and husband Charles of Lexington, Oklahoma, Grace Garcia of Gainesville, Texas, and Valentina Allen and husband John of Yukon, Oklahoma; and brothers, Ezekiel Garcia and Eleazer “Paco” Garcia, both of Hereford, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo and Elmina Garcia; a son, Israel Garcia; and siblings, Florita Batis, Esteban Garcia, Robert Garcia and Ida Garcia.
