Robert Shane Horton went to his final resting place on Nov. 1, 2021, with his loving wife Debbye by his side. Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m., at Thousand Oaks Bible Church, 15801 Jones Maltsberger Road , San Antonio, TX 78247. He was born in Tulia, Texas on Nov. 7, 1956.
His early years were spent in Dumas and Tulia with his mother. Soon he moved to Dimmitt, Texas with his parents, Edd and Joni Wilson. He played football for the Dimmitt Bobcats and was a standout. He graduated with the class of 1975 - the greatest class ever. He attended San Angelo State University, and then moved to San Antonio to start a career in construction. In 1988, he married the love of his life, Debbye. He enjoyed the love of the ride on his Harley, Trigger, touring the beauty of our country.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Joni Wilson; a sister, Lisa; and a stepdaughter, Yvonne Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Debbye; his stepson, Jeff and wife Linda; granddaughters, Lyndsay Zoe and Chloe; his siblings, Debi Stein (Howard) and daughter Kristen, Tanya Hutton (Mike) and son Travis, Randy Wilson and kids Jonathan and Jamie, Stacy Boozer (Robert) Brock, Colin, and Stratton. He also is survived by a grand niece and nephew.
