Josue Narciso “Josh” Quiroz, 27 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Hereford, Texas.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fourth & Bedford Church of Christ with Bailey Chisum and Pedro Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Josue Narciso Quiroz was born on May 16, 1993 in El Paso, Texas to Narciso Quiroz and Laura (Sanchez) Quiroz. Josh grew up in Dimmitt from the age of 2 and graduated from Dimmitt High School. He later attended college in Oklahoma City. Josh loved to dance and listen to music and had a passion for drawing. He will be remembered for respecting his peers, but most of all he will be remembered for loving the time he spent with his family and friends and especially his nephews.
Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Narciso Garcia Quiroz and Laura Sanchez De Quiroz of Dimmitt; two brothers, Adam Quiroz of Amarillo, Texas, and Jonathan Quiroz of Dimmitt; grandparents, Luciano Quiroz and Rosario Quiroz of Dimmitt, and grandfather, Cipriano Sanchez of Tres Jacales, Chihuahua, Mexico; three nephews, Xander Quiroz of Amarillo, Julian Quiroz of Amarillo, and Derrick Eli Quiroz of Dimmitt; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Josh is preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria De Los Angeles Garcia; and greatgrandmothers, Natividad Estrada and Andrea Mota Barragán.
