Shirley Tucker Reese, 86 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 25 at College Heights Baptist Church with Mr. Jeff McLain officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Shirley Tucker Reese was born July 29, 1935, in Memphis, Texas to JC and Eula Mae Spruill. She worked as a schoolteacher for 52 years. She was an avid golfer and fisherman.

She is survived by her cowboy companion, Beryle Robertson; daughter, Lana McLain; sister, Gloria Jean Heath; sister-in-law, Sandy Spruill; daughter in law, Tracy Davis; three grandchildren, Billy Jim Tucker, Kaci Searsy and Kelli McLain; and eight great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kelsea, Slade, Drue, Heath, Caden, Jett and Jaxon,

She is preceded in death by her son, Jim Tucker; her parents; one brother, Bobby Spruill; and two sisters, Jo Robinson and Wanda Jones.
