Diane Mary Reyna of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, in Weatherford, Texas, at the age of 70 years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. David Contreras, Deacon Paul Herrera, Deacon John Nino and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 21, at 6 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home.

Diane was born in Plainview, Texas on Dec. 5, 1953, to Pablo and Susie (Cabello) Herrera. Diane married Joe Reyna on Jan. 4, 1976, and they were married for 48 years.

Diane was employed with Hereford Regional Medical Center WorkSmart for 20 years, retiring in 2016. She was a devoted wife, mother, and amazing grandmother. Diane loved baking, spoiling her grandkids, watching her Spanish soap operas, working in the yard on her rose bushes, traveling with her children, taking weekly trips to Walmart, getting pedicures and manicures, and just living life to the fullest.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Jose Reyna of Dimmitt; three daughters, Cicely Stanton and husband Kevin of Weatherford; Alta Reyna of San Antonio, Texas, Holly Reyna of Dimmitt; and one son, T.J. Reyna of Canyon, Texas;siblings, Sylvia Olvera and husband Raul of Dimmitt, Irma Leal and husband Albert of Angleton, Texas, Mary Ann Carrasco and husband Johnny of Hart, Texas, Gracie Herrera of Rosharon, Texas, Paul Herrera Jr. and wife Olivia of Dimmitt, and Gilbert Herrera of Amarillo; along with eight wonderful grandchildren.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ruben Herrera, Frank Herrera, and Raul Herrera; sister, Polita Espinosa; and grandson, Zane Garcia.
