Nedra Jean Mills Robb, 82 of Dimmitt, Texas, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 5, 2021 in Dimmitt. Graveside service will be held at Hart Cemetery on Wednesday, March 10 at 9:30 a.m. along with a celebration of life memorial service following at Tulia Christian Fellowship at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rusty Gray officiating. Local arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Jean was born May 6, 1938, in Tulia, Texas, to Wade and Tina Mills. In 1956, she graduated from Dimmitt High School and resided in Dimmitt, Texas, until her death. She married Ted Robb in 1956. Before her retirement in 2018, she worked at Castro County Appraisal District for 38 years. Outside of work, she was known for her love of quilting and was involved in the Ogallala Quilters’ Society, where she donated over 300 quilts to the homeless, veterans and foster care children. Jean loved and adored her family. Some of her favorite hobbies included canning black-eyed peas, gardening, painting, playing Spades and spending time with her friends, children and grandchildren.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Trey Robb. She leaves behind four children, Larry Robb (Cyrilla) of Nazareth, Cheryl Bentley (Bob) of Amarillo, Jan McCord (Mike) of Flower Mound, and Lonnie Robb (Traci) of Nazareth; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Seiple of North Canton, Ohio; and two nephews and two nieces.

Jean was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be remembered for her positivity and giving nature. The family requests memorial donations be made to Castro County Memorial Hospital, 310 W. Halsell St., Dimmitt, Texas 79027.
