Enrique Rodriquez, formerly of Dimmitt, Texas passed away Aug. 29, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas.

Enrique was born in Rocksprings, Texas. He married Felipa Sanchez in 1959. Together, they raised their eight children and were a large, happy family. “Henry” as he was known to all, moved around the Panhandle of Texas until he settled in Sunny Side, 20 miles south of Dimmitt. He was a hard worker, and his children were often by his side learning and helping around the farm. He believed in families staying close and knowing all family members, so they often took trips to San Antonio, Uvalde and Rock Springs to visit them. He was a great father, uncle and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Carmen Diaz and Manuela Castillo; two brothers, Romolo and Eduardo Rodriquez; daughter, Mary Ann Larra; and son, Richard Rodriquez.

Enrique is survived by his spouse, Felipa; children, Janie, Enrique Jr., Linda, Velen, Isidro and Randy; 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and great friends.
