Daniel Rodriquez, 55 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in Amarillo. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, at 6 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon John Nino officiating. Cremation Services are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home.

Danny was born on Nov. 2, 1966, in Dimmitt, Texas and raised by his parents Narciso Gauna ad Emilia (Lopez) Gauna. He attended school in Dimmitt and became a farmer. Danny married Rebecca (Casas) Rodriguez on June 6, 1984. Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed singing and playing the bajo. He will always be remembered by his willingness to make people laugh and help ing others in time of need. But most importantly he was an amazing husband, dad, and grandpa to his family.

Danny is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rodriguez of Dimmitt; son, Daniel Ivan Rodriguez of Dimmitt; two daughters, Candis Rodriguez of Bremond and Laura Rodriguez and husband Jessie Lara of Dimmitt; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Nino, Madison Lara, Mia Rodriguez and Paisley Lara; along with several brothers and sisters.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
