Sandra Jean Lewis went to be with our Lord and Savior in the early morning on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, in her home in Temple, Texas. Sandra was born in Scurry County on October 19, 1939, to Robert Warren Boyd and Otha Jewel Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Danny P. Lewis, her husband; Debra Spain, a daughter; and Brooke Ashton Parker, a granddaughter.

Sandra’s main focus in life was to love and care for her family. She enjoyed several hobbies in her lifetime including oil painting, music, playing golf, antiquing and playing games of all kinds. There were many late nights playing Nintendo with her grandchildren. The last few years she enjoyed her outings to her favorite snow cone stand. She was a member of Tomball United Methodist Church while living in the Houston area and more recently a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Snyder, Texas.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Casey Sandman of Temple, Texas, Miranda Waldron and husband, Terence of Abilene, Texas, and Mallory Culpepper and husband James, of Rogers, Texas; Jackie Cornett and husband Mike of Dimmitt, Texas, and their children, Bryce Parker and fiancé, Michelle, of Lubbock, Texas, and Bree Cornett of Dimmitt, Texas; other grandchildren, Chanda Seymour of Austin, Texas, and Shea Spain and wife Alyssa of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Julia McCrory and husband, Jerry, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and brother, Robert Boyd and wife Becky, of San Angelo, Texas: and nine great grandchildren.

Sandra requested cremation and no formal arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to your favorite charity for children.
