Kathy Lynne (Alexander) Waller passed from this world while surrounded by family, on Monday Oct. 18, 2021. She was 69 years old. For 52 years she was the loving, faith-filled partner of Narvin “Butch” Waller.

She is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and their families; Jason Bryant Waller, his girlfriend, Christa Madden, and his children Amanda Waller, Chauncey Waller and Sarah Waller; Tyrel Waller and his girlfriend Bobbi Hall, and his children Tavian Young with her husband Blayne Young and their son Brecken, and Tatum Waller; Katrina Mick and her husband Darrell Mick, and their children Camri Waller, Paden Mick and Shaun Mick. She is also survived many cousins and extended family scattered across the United States.

Kathy was born on Oct. 12, 1952, in Tulia, Texas, to Calvin and Jane Alexander. She grew up in Hart, Texas, a town filled with many friends and great memories. Her high school classmates continue to be a close group of friends. She was an active member and spiritual leader in her church community, where she touched many lives and created many strong friendships. Kathy and Butch were involved in the Prison Fellowship Ministries where they changed many young men’s lives.

For the past few years, Kathy and Butch lived in the mountains of Colorado where they served as camp hosts and continued to touch the lives of the many campers who came through their campground.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Kathy’s life on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m., at the Abundant Life Family Church (410 SW 2nd St, Dimmitt, TX).
