The Nazareth Swiftettes had a strong start into the playoffs with a Bi-District win over the Pringle-Morse Cougars, 83-16.

The Swiftettes dominated the game from the first tip off to the final buzzer, pushing out front for a 36-point lead in the first quarter. Nazareth continued to hit throughout the next three quarters, and the defense racked up 31 steals making it difficult for Pringle-Morse to score. Pringle-Morse came in with 41 turnovers.

Nazareth shot for 31 of 70 field goals with nine of 28 three-pointers, hit 12 of 17 free throws, collected 40 rebounds, 19 assists, 31 steals, one block, eight turnovers and four fouls.

Top shots for the Swiftettes were Brooklyn Birkenfeld with 16 points, four offensive rebounds, one defensive rebound, one assist, nine steals, and one block; Presley Wheeler, 15 points, one offensive and defensive rebound, three assists and five steals; and Iris Schilderink, 11 points, two offensive rebounds, three defensive rebounds, one assist and two steals.
