Are you in a rut for meals? Need something you can have ready when you get home? Slow cooker meals are great for any family.

Join Felice Acker with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Castro County Office to learn about meal prepping for slow cooking.

This series is brought to the county with a team of Family and Community Health agents. This winter portion of the series will be Wednesday, Jan. 25, beginning at noon at the Castro County Extension office 205 N Broadway, Dimmitt.

The workshop will include lunch, and a meal that attendees will prep in a freezer bag to take home, as well as a lot of tips and tricks for using a slow cooker, as well as a recipe book.

Cost for the program is $25. Those interested must RSVP at the extension office at 806647-4115 by Jan. 23 in order to have all the supplies for the take home meal.
