Area students graduate from SPC

South Plains College had more than 1,300 students who received their academic degree or certificate on May 13, including several area students.

Maria Del Cielo Esqueda-Moran of Dimmitt graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration;

Bryan Morales of Hart earned his Welding Certificate - Basic Processes;

Delylah Olivarez of Dimmitt graduated with an Automotive Collision Certificate – Basic; and

Emma Schilling of Dimmitt graduated with an Associate Degree in General Studies .

Additionally, there were 400 students named to the Spring 2022 Presidents List, including Emma Schilling of Dimmitt; Braydon Stephens of Dimmitt; Halley Wales of Dimmitt; and Collin Welper of Hart.

Bryan Morales of Hart was also among 660 students named to the SPC Spring 2022 Deans' List.

South Plains College is a comprehensive, two-year community college that serves the greater South Plains area of Texas with innovative educational programs that span the arts and sciences, technical education, continuing education and workforce development.

Serving a 13-county area that comprises the southern portion of the Texas High Plains, the college's main campus is located in Levelland. SPC also offers educational programs at two locations in Lubbock - the SPC Lubbock Center and the SPC Reese Center - as well as an extension center in Plainview.
