The Dimmitt Bobbies scored a big victory against the Wellman Wildcats on Saturday, 67-36.

The Bobbies took the lead in the first quarter, 21-13, with Analyce Robertson leading the offense in shooting with seven point, followed by Kaylee Lujan with four points. Dimmitt showed solid free throw shooting as well, sinking 10 free throws of 14 attempts.

The second quarter, Dimmitt continued to out-shoot the Wildcats, closing the first half out 40-22.

The Bobbies continue their victory march in the third quarter, with the defense holding Wellman to seven points and the offense sinking another 14 points, strengthening the lead to 54-29.

The final quarter gave Dimmitt a solid win over the Wildcats, 67-36.

Top Bobbies shooters were Michelle Ontiveros with 14 points; Analyce Robertson, 12 points, Kaylee Lujan, nine points, JC Sepeda, eight points, Kelly Chavez, Fabiola Perez and Sara Loeza, each with six points; Nataley Bonilla, three points; Haylee Melendez, two points; and Alyssa Monreal, one point.

The Bobbies have upcoming games scheduled against River Road on Nov. 17, New Deal on Nov. 20, and Olton on Nov. 21. Schedules subject to change due to COVID-19.
