The Dimmitt Bobcats scored a narrow victory against the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes, 54-52.

The Bobcats took a lead in the first quarter, 17-6 in the first quarter, and widened the lead in the second quarter, 27-14.

Lamesa battled in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bobcats by three points and narrowed the Dimmitt lead slightly, 4030, then challenged the Bobcats in the fourth quarter for the win, with the Bobcats prevailing by two points to take the win.

The Bobcats offense scored 19 of 46 field goals with seven of 20 three pointers, seven of 15 free throws, collected 31 rebounds, 11 assists, four steals, two blocks and 20 fouls.

Top shots for Dimmitt were CJ Willey with 21 points, three offensive rebounds, four defensive rebounds, three assists, four steals, three blocks and four fouls; and Ivan Moreno, 11 points, eight defensive rebounds, one steal and four fouls.
