The Dimmitt Bobcats lost to the Brownfield Cubs, 8750.

The Cubs took the lead in the first quarter, 19-11, and continued widen the point gap in the second quarter, closing the first half ahead, 51-22.

Dimmitt battled in the second half, but were unable to over the Cubs lead, giving Brownfield the victory.

Dimmitt shot14 of 36 2-pointers, two of eight 3-pointers, 16 of 31 free throws, collected 15 offensive rebounds, 22 defensive rebounds, eight assists, five deflections, six steals, and had 30 turnovers and 14 fouls.

Top shots for the Bobcats were Kaden Carpio with 22 points, one offensive rebound, three defensive rebounds, one assist and two fouls; and Mario Lopez, 10 points, four offensive rebounds, one defensie rebound, two deflections and four fouls.

Contributing shooters were Frankie Cortez with five points, two offensive rebounds, six defensive rebounds, three assists, two deflections, one steal and five fouls; Keenan Hernandez, five points, two defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul; Enrique Holguin, four points, four offensive rebounds, two defensive rebounds and one foul; Tony Salazar, three points, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds, three assists, one deflection, two steals and one foul; and Jaden Rodriguez, one point and one assist.

Isiah Sifuentez had one offensive rebound; Daegan Robertson, two defensive rebounds and two steals; and Effren Torres, two defensive rebounds.
