The Dimmitt Bobcats suffered a loss to the Denver City Mustangs, 13-3.

The Mustangs got the jump in the first inning, bringing in five runners, giving them a 5-0 lead going into the second inning.

The Bobcats batters brought three runners across the plate, with Denver City scoring a single run in the second inning, narrowing the Mustang lead to 6-3.

Denver City came in with two runs in the third, four in the fourth inning and one more in the sixth, to give them the win, 13-3.

Losing pitcher was DHS Victor Flores who threw 83 pitches with 56 strikes in four innings, giving up six hits and 12 runs, five errors, one strikeout and two walks.

Javion Casas pitched two innings and threw 39 pitches, gave up three hits, one run, one error, three strikeouts and two walks.

Bobcats Javion Casas, Jose Medina and Edwin Macias each managed one hit to lead Dimmitt Bobcats.

Batting for Dimmitt, Javion Casas had three at-bats, one hit and one strikeout; Victor Flores, three at-bats and one strike out; Trey Aguero, three at-bats and one strikeout; Jose Medina, three at bats, one run and one hit; Edgar Lopez, one atbat, one run, one walk and one strike out; Juan Anima, two atbats and one strike out; Edwin Macias, two at-bats, one run, one hit, one RBI and one strike out; Jorge Pena, two at-bats, one RBI and one strike out; and Ryan Nino, two at-bats and two strike outs.
