The Dimmitt Bobcats suffered a loss to the River Road Wildcats 34-29.

River Road took an early lead in the first quarter, 10-6, but the Bobcats came back in the second quarter to outscore the Wildcats and had the lead as the first half ended, 14-12.

The Wildcats offense bounced back in the third quarter to overtake the Dimmitt lead and push out ahead 28-22 and held onto the lead until the final buzzer giving them the win.

The Bobcats came in with 10 of 25 2-point field goals, nine of 15 free throws, nine offensive rebounds, 21 defensive rebounds, eight assists, 18 deflections, 10 steals, 28 turnovers, 18 fouls and three charges taken.

Top shots for Dimmitt were Frankie Cortez with nine points, three defensive rebounds, three assists, two steals and two fouls, and Isaiah Ramirez with eight points, three offensive rebounds, five deflections, one assist, one steal and four fouls.

Contributing shooters were Gaquoire Chatham with four points, two offensive rebounds, four deflections and three fouls; Mario Lopez, three points, one offensive rebound, four defensive rebounds, four deflections, three steals and three fouls; Daegan Robertson, two points, one offensive rebound, one assist, two steals and two fouls; Josiah Torres, two points and one foul.
