Bobcats kickoff 2023 season

The Dimmitt Bobcats are heading into their season with some thumbs up from Dave Campbell’s District Preview.

The Bobcats will have six offensive and seven defensive starters returning as they march into their first game on Saturday against Memphis.

Players to watch this season are WR/DB Vincente Soto;,WR/DB Janny Morales, OL/DL Jorje Pena, RB/LB Adrik Bustos, WR/DB Diego Santillo, OL/DB Jordan Casas.

Top juniors: OL/DL Randy Gomez, WR/DB Blake Howell. Top sophomore: OL/DL, Zeke Pina. Other prospects: WR/DB Effren Torres, OL/DL Ga’Quorie Chatham, QB/DL Jack Lunsford, OL/DL Ivan Martinez, WR/DB Xaden vargas, RB/DB Tradien Worsham.

Coming off a tough 2022 season with 0-10, 0-5 season, Coach Johnny Nino looks for lots of improvement after strong weight training and conditioning efforts over the summer.
