Bobcats press on into season

The Dimmitt Bobcats won one and lost three against Farwell, Slaton, Borger and Dumas.

Bobcats v Farwell

The Bobcats were defeated 55-40 by the Farwell Steers.

The Bobcats came through with 16 of 48 2-point shots, eight of 16 free throws, 19 offensive rebounds, 17 defensive rebounds, four assists, six deflections, 19 turnovers, nine fouls and one charge taken.

Top shot was Frankie Cortez with 15 points, five offensive rebounds, one defensive rebound, one assist, one deflection, six steals and three fouls.

The Bobcats fell to the Slaton Tigers, 49-28.
