The Dimmitt Bobbies and Bobcats competed at the 64th annual Caprock Classic, along with 116 teams from across Texas, Oklahoma and two from Australia.

Considered the largest high school holiday tournament in the country, it is hosted by Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS, a local non-profit comprised of community volunteers. Funds raised from the Caprock Classic are used to help people with disabilities.

Bobcats v Kingdom Prep 46-30 (W) The Bobcats sank 15 of 34 2-pointers, five of 17 3-pointers, one of four free throws, collected 10 offensive rebounds, 21 defensive rebounds, 10 assists, six deflections, 17 steals, one block, 18 turnovers, 13 fouls and one charge taken.

Top shot for the Bobcats was Frankie Cortez with 17 points, one offensive rebound, seven defensive rebounds, three assists, three deflections eight steals, one block and one foul.

Contributing shooters were Mario Lopez with six points, three defensive rebounds, two assists, two steals and one foul; Jaden Rodriguez with six points; Kaden Carpio, five points, two offensive and defensive rebounds, one assist, one deflection, one steal and three fouls; Enrique Holguin, four points, two offensive rebounds, one assist and one foul; Tony Salazar, three points, two offensive rebounds, one defensive rebound, one assist, three steals and two fouls; Josiah Torres, three points and two fouls; and Daegan Robertson, two points, two defensive rebounds and one deflection. #20 had one offensive and defensive rebound, one steal and one foul; #24, one steal and one foul.
