Both Dimmitt High School cross county teams qualified to compete at the Regional Meet in Lubbock after the Bobcats placed first in District. And the Bobbies placing third. The Regional meet saw the Bobcats with a 7th team placing and the Bobbies with a 22nd.
Hart XC varsity runners Anthony Flores Palacios and Alton Washington qualified to compete at the Regional meet where Palacios placed 115th and Washington placed 82nd.
Hart High School varsity XC girls qualified for regionals with a District placing of 2nd and at Regionals, they placed 15th.
DHS XC Azariah Gonzalez will be headed to the State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock on Nov. 5.

The Region 1 XC Championships were held this past Monday in Lubbock, with runners from Dimmitt, Nazareth and Hart all competing.
Three runners qualified for state and will advance: Chloe Birkenfeld and Bryson Brockman, Nazareth High School, and Azariah Gonzalez from Dimmitt High School.
