HPWD research, grant proposals being accepted

The High Plains Underground Water Conservation District (HPWD) is accepting proposal requests and is looking for innovative ideas that will help conserve water.

Proposals for a water conservation research, demonstration, or education project will be reviewed by HPWD Research/ Demonstration Committee and Board of Directors.

Supplemental information that should be included with the submission includes a financial report showing itemized project costs and financial contributions from cooperators and other funding sources.

For those not having legal authority to enter into an agreement with the High Plains Water District, please submit a letter from the entity that giving authorization to 1) submit the Grant Application and 2) accept funds on behalf of the entity.

Also, any supplemental materials the applicant would like the committee and board to review.

Proposals are due no later than Feb. 5, 2024, by 5 p.m. Applications may be found at www.hpwd.org. Applicants will be notified of the board’s decision by the end of March.
